Welcome to the start of something new!

Today is the start of something new.  My life has not been the same since taking a break from blogging and what a better way to share my passion for cooking, eating, and blogging with all of you then starting up a new blog!  Hence, why I'm creating a spin-off of my old blog, happy Wife, happy Life and transforming it into, healthy Wife, happy Life (see what I did there?!).  This blog will be filled with my favorite plant-based recipes that are rich in flavor, compassion, and nutrients that will transform the minds of even the toughest critics into plant-based believers!

It's been over 6 months since I've adopted a whole-grain, plant-based diet.  Since then, I have immersed myself in this amazing world that has opened my eyes to so many new and exciting possibilities.  It has changed my mind, my body, and most importantly, the way I see the world. This blog is about being happy, healthy, and compassionate with everything you do.  I truly feel if you are healthy, you will be happy.  Especially if you are making healthy choices, you will feel happier about your life and the way you choose to live it.  We can live in a very unhealthy, unhappy world, but we can change all of that with a little perspective, a lot of compassion, and an open mind to the traditional way we look at food.
